its interesting how you use a highly saturated color that is based off a red in a shadowed area. i guess the suprising thing is that it works. i would recoment make the saturation in the blue shadowed area roughly equal to the saturation in the red violet area. in coloring this you lost alot ove the energy of the sketch and it would be nice to see that energy returned somehow. keep up the good work.
thanks for all the comments ^^ they will help a lot on teh final piece ^^ Ive decided to do this piece in water color, digital is just to foreign to me right now and I just dont know how to get teh color palet I want digitaly. im going to do a few more quick thumbnail color roughs tomorrow and see what kind of palet im going to use, might try one with a yellow ochre thrown to unify the colors and mute them way down, see how that pans out. as far as anatomy goes ive fixed some of teh problems mentioned ^^ id like to do a lot more as far as changing angles and such but unfortunetly for this assignment the final has to be based off of teh roughs and teh thumbnails so I cant go nuts completely redesigning,... drats ^^ ohh well it shoudl still be fun to work out in watercolors ^^
