Carving pumpkins is hard when your only tools are a steak knife and a blunt spoon!

If you look carefully, you may be able to make out the outline of his tail on the wall behind him. I should have made the tail narrower and off to the side more for better effect. It would also have helped with the issue of being able to see out the back when looking directly at the front of it. (It looks okay off to the side, or if it is just above eye level.)

The cheeks are not holes, they're hollowed out hemispheres. And the top and the bottom of the tongue are cut to different depths to create the two-tone effect.
