I was wanting a little more background style stuff for my characters shared setting of Oronsk so I thought the uniform of both the armed forces, border guards and troops attached to the militia (the police kind) would be somewhere to start.
This, worn by a random flynx male, would be summer dress, probably worn while in barracks or when guarding somewhere. Both male and female uniforms are the same.

The reference images I gave were mostly for 40-50's era soviet made gear as I wanted that look and I think it fits the idea I had of most of the equipment being hand-me-downs and surplus stuff (especially in the case of a somewhat ill fitting helmet) from a larger ideologically friendly neighbour used by a state that would rather spend its budget on things other than a military that would be too small to be that effective.
