Acoarwen is hunting for prey on a road, hoping to find large animals like horse or cows. Humans have too little blood for her to grow and larger animals are getting smaller compared to her body, if only an elephant could be imported.

Blood Dragons are an evil race, they need blood to grow and they drain it from whatever victim they come across. Young Blood Dragons grow quickly when they drain humans for the 5 liters of blood they have, but when they get bigger the humans just become a drop in the ocean and have to move to bigger prey.

Blood Dragons are notoriously difficult to kill, even a small drop of blood remaining of the "slain" dragon is enough for it to survive. It would have to start small by draining the blood of mice and rats. They have a limited shapeshifting ability, such as forming spikes from their bodies and squeezing through openings too small even for their prey.

They don't have a normal skeleton, but they shape the blood to form a cartilage-like skeleton. The "flesh" is just liquid blood held in place by a membrane so the dragon can crush the prey instead of drowning it in the blood. Even if you cut off a limb the blood won't flow from the wound, it just forms a new limb and membrane. The cut off limb is quickly reabsorbed by stepping on it.

They don't have internal organs like heart, lungs or intestines. The color of the Blood Dragons depends on the preys blood color, humans have red blood, spiders, crustaceans such as crabs and shrimp, and even some insects such as stoneflies have blue blood, ect, ect.
