Ah! Thanks!! I mentioned the possibility of a volcanic blast because in a nearby valley there is a roughly 2,000 foot long rock mini-mountain that got blown about 15 miles from a volcano in a nearby mountain range into the valley. I'm glad that I wasn't anywhere around when that happened!
