Bookmark commission for tygon of his character as a Jedi. This one is pretty much well contained within the box, so I decided to just upload it without the lamination and tassel. The final product is laminated and has a silver grommet with a red tassel.
Done with copic markers, micro inks, brush pen, colored pencil, and white gel pen on bristol board.

According to Star Wars canon only the Sith use red lightsaber's that's true. However, according to Star Wars canon there also should be any tiger-lion Jedi, so I think we don't have to stick to canon too much ;)
The actual reason for the rest lightsaber lies in the first time Tygon was drawn as a Jedi. Gen (who did that) asked me which color I wanted and after a few moments of indecision we went with red because I like red :) We had loads of fun joking how that isn't actually red but a really dark orange and such ;)
In-universe he probably too that saber of a Sith and decided to just keep using it instead of making a new one for himself. Or maybe he considers it a sort of trophy. I'm still working on the character background for this version of Tygon though, so that might change.
