Nikki the bat, out at night by the light of the full moon...
I figured with Halloween coming up, I'd do something special =). This is wallpaper sized (1024 x 769... okay, I was a pixel off) - and I tried to format it in such a way that it would look good as a desktop background... (provided that you don't have too many icons ^.^)
And it had been far too long since I'd drawn a bat.
Acrylics on 9"x12" bristol board.

She is a little brown bat - but they look pretty similar.
Though perhaps that might be a possible future project for Kacey if she wishes... ;)

What a great character design, too.
Great color scheme, and you did a lovely job on the fur detail and the wing membranes.
Great job with the acrylics. I love the detail and the highlights in the fur and around her face and eyes.
