This is a sketch I did after Rainfurrest. This was in cue with the theme, but I never got around to submitting anything. I like the totem pole at least, but finding good references to draw it was a bit of a pain.

very nice. the totem looks very good.
I think the cougar's head is a bit too wide. maybe you'll want to adjust the shoulders a bit to maek up for it. I guess the head would look entirely different after re-doing it, which would be a pity... he seems to listen to the bird hard and serious.
(and personally, I'd leave that line crossing his noseridge away. it looks out of place.)
