Like you have seen my last posts, I am currently overwork my pirate characters.
Jean Dunois is a German Shepherd and (although about the same age like the Chevalier) the ship cook on board the Revenge, and now too on the new ship "Fântome".
He is somehow the good spirit aboard. With him always knowing the right word to the right time, he can finish arguments before they get worse.
Despite the fact that he actually does now how to navigate, he is not a formal higher rank, but everyone respects and sympathizes with him.
The Chevalier would never confess it, but actually it is Dunois who seduces the men to crew, who got a better knowledge of fury nature...
Btw, he can also easily cut your throat, so do not snigger at him.
