Finally, I got a chance to pose and model for some proper photos of my lion fleece suit that I purchased from 
noblewolf many months ago. He's been a lot of fun to wear, and fits really well on me!
As far as characters go, he's rather amusing. He puts on this gruff tuff persona for the camera, like he's some macho workout freak, but in private he's actually rather shy and sensitive. He's learned the hard way that being cruel and a bully doesn't win any friends, and he's coming to terms with his predatory nature.
He's the cutest cuddle-beast! But don't tell him that to his face, or he'll likely growl at you. A lot. Awwww!

Cool character, I really like how well the suit comes together. I'm usually not one for fleece suits but the fact that the clothing materials is dissimilar in texture and photographs differently really helps make him look like the fleece is fur and of course it helps his mane stand out. Neat suit and it's nice to see someone who develops the character of the suit, you seem like a great performer.
When I first saw the suit posted for sale, I kind of fell in love with it! Fleece is easy to care for compared to a normal fursuit, and it fits really well on me, tight without being constrictive. If done right I feel that fleece is a great look.
I've tried out a few wardrobes with Lon and found the red, black and yellow color schemes mesh nicely with the suit overall. Given that he is an athlete, or at least aspires to be one, the sports motif works out well.
I do like to give my costumes real personalities and let them grow and change like real people. I am rather clueless in the sports department myself, so I'll likely be working that into his character. I think he's at best a male cheerleader, or more likely just a nerdy lion who dresses up in outfits and spouts retarded sports nonsense that any reasonably schooled sports fan would laugh at. He tries too hard to be in the jock crowd, poor fellow!

Fleece feels great actually! I've even slept in the suit a few times, head and all during cold/cool weather. I can't wear the gloves all night as they constrict blood flow to my fingers if I'm inactive, but the suit itself I have worn all night long. It is a great sleeper!
I did sweat an awful lot while doing this photoshoot, but that was because I didn't have the A/C on (oops!). Even then I was in suit for a few hours straight and didn't feel overly uncomfortable. I definitely needed a good shower afterwards!

So long as it looks clean and non-murry a fleece suit in public should be fine. Just give a good performance, the material becomes secondary.
I will say that Lon's tail does need some body to it, right now it's like someone ironed it flat. Some (removable) stuffing would make it more realistic.
