So the transmission must be kinda like a glorified egg beater...of course with much tighter tolerances to make sure the blades never touch...

Its a shame its so dusty...neat piece of equipment.

Yah, these intermeshing type choppers must have quite a transmission. I'd wager it has similarities to the Chinook's system.
