This is actually one of my favorites...the way the kids youthful innocence contrasts against the mother's weary struggle in the real world. I got pretty lucky with it.

Wow this is... an awe inspiring photo... I don't really get caught up in photo's often, but something between the mothers weary expression of "where did all the time go" and the two children who both seem to just be at the peek of their childhood, before any sort of realization of the real world sinks in. It's a very somber reminder that nothing lasts forever, and that one should enjoy when they have, when they have it...

I worked as a courier in Hollywood for awhile and had to start carrying a camera on me all the time because I kept coming across some pretty unforgettable scenes.

You're totally right with this one - the dichotomy of the mom's world-worn struggle not but a few feet from her children's innocent ambivalence...it's rough.
