Today our 17 year old cat, Bear, went missing, we knew it was because it was his time and he didn't wish for us to see. I know I should think 'well maybe he ran away' but lately he has been running away and wanting to more often, so we know it was for the best.
What he doesn't know was that he played a very huge role in our life, he was wise one, the teacher that not only our other cats (Jessie and Trix) looked up too but everyone we knew looked up to. He was the father figure that would make sure we knew if we did anything wrong, he was our protector that would growl or hiss if anything was wrong. Goodbye old friend.
