This is a days worth of progress on a Ch-47 Chinook that i am making in Maya for second Life. Project has to take less than a week. I will post significan Updates, here.

Well oddly enough there were wallpaper sized photos of Chinooks rear down in the water kicking up and artistic spray of water vapor int he decorative twilight, But the other impressive things are the photos of the creative ways they land these in various parts of the globe, sometimes with one wheel touching on a Coyote and Roadrunner Cartoon type of crag, barely eno0ugh room for the three guys standing on the rock arraigning their rappel ropes. Lots of shots from Viet Nam of them with two wheels on a mountain side as they are unloading artillery shells for some mountain top firebase. Creative pilots, I'll give them that.

Nice! I always had a fondness for this helicopter since I saw it a lot as a kid on the various military bases Dad was stationed at. Most memorable sighting was when one delivered an F-105 for static display on the grounds of the Air Force Academy.
