First full-scale quill ink I've done (the right way). So there are little errors here and there. I started off with a 102 quill and small ink brush to see which worked best, and the brush left the shoulder and neck of FallingDragon kinda spotchy as a result, so I switched back to quill.
Took me months of on and off work.
Originally drew the picture in the MotorCityComicCon 2011 when a nice artist gave me half of their illustration board to doodle on. The picture is big. This year at MCCC, two separate artists convinced me to start quill inking, so I started on this pic during MCCC2012, as I conveniently still had the sketch on hand.
So the story behind the pic that is a clockwork dragon went rogue and started attacking the others in the troupe, eating riders and generally being a nuisance.
edit - reupped a smaller file that FA wouldn't make blurry. Full size image is here; http://www.thestreet.d2g.com/Dorago.....DragonMCCC.jpg
