I just recently began trying some of that with my "Drawing the Dog Breeds of the World" project...I'm still somewhat "new" in the use of markers (beyond flat coloring), I can't even really figure out what to use that blender marker for! *lol*

well, deleters (the brand i use) have a different consistancy than prisma. they blend much easier on their own. a blender actually tends to lighten whatever it goes over with deleters.
personally i find blenders more useful with coloured pencils, which i use very rarely. i also sometimes use it to soften the edges of a white gel pen streak, or use it to get more of a 'soaked' look when adding blood on fabric.
