"Come on Clemi, I wanna show you something." Morin Hoof smiled and headed off down the road out of Ponyville but walking slow enough for the filly to catch up.

"Show me what?" The filly hesitated, but followed after anyways. "It's getting late Morin, we both need sleep."

The stallion smiled and nodded, "I know it's getting late, we might miss it!"

Clemi arched an eyebrow at her companion and just shrugged it off as the duo walked together. They made it out to the center of a field where no pony else was around. It was rather strange to be that close to Ponyville and not actually see or hear any ponies about. "What is it you wanted to---"

The filly flinched as a loud bang echoed throughout the clearing. She stared in awe as one firework after another burst into a rainbow of colors in the night sky. A bit dumbfounded she glanced at Morin for some kind of explanation."

"I wanted it to be a surprise, for my very special somepony." He replied softly. "I knew you were upset and I wanted to do something to make it up to you."

"Ohh Morin," Clemi smiled wider and her eyes turned back to the sky. "It's all so magical, thank you."

All right so this ain't Aladdin and Jasmine, and they didn't just finish a flying carpet ride, but they ARE watching fireworks! Random Disney title reference FTW!

*coughs*

Time for something a lot less depressing eh?! XD

I actually had this on my computer started for a while. Originally it was going to just be the two ponies against a cropped background for a wallpaper for my computer. However, I didn't like how cramped the fireworks got on the cropped space so I expanded it! Once I did that though, then the ponies looked out of place with flat colors so I had to tint them, and once I did that then they needed shading and well... voila! I got carried away. ^^;

Anyways, random pony arts again. X3 I promise I won't spam too much lol.
