I personally have a love-hate relationship with fireworks. They'd be so much better if they were noiseless. <.<

Fireworks are awesome BECAUSE they have noise (and the nice explosions to go with them)

Not when I'm very easily startled, and /especially/ when people are inconsiderate enough to let them off late at night, as is often the case where I live.
