You all want ghost stories? no....we don't have any of those in this town......we do have one story, but the city board doesn't like us talking about it, but no one is around, just promise not to tell anyone, as if this spread to much.....’he’ will return.
It all goes back to the fall of 2003 when a new family moved into town, let's just call them
‘the Anderson's’
now the Anderson's where a normal family practically, the first month was normal, the parents and their one son, he was 7-9 years old, blond hair, and bright green eyes, always had a curious look on his face, what was odd, he never had many friends, what's odd isn't that he was shunned, oh no, never that...a lot of kids tried to befriend him, the boy would keep saying that he has enough friends, though he had none, but that's not even the oddest part, every day after school he would say hi to every tree he passed, sometimes he would stop, and stare at the tree, almost as if the tree started talking to the boy......we never understood it until later...but that was quite a literal meaning of what happened.
The boy, every day, would go to the park, and stare at the largest willow tree in the center of the park. He would stare at it for a hour, almost as if it was telling him something important, and the child would stare with interest, sometimes saying one word, usually a question “Why?” “How?” “When?”
Now at this time the townspeople were starting to take note of the child and his odd mental issue, and they forced him to go to the local hospital and get a sanity check up, the townspeople thought if they were able to prove he isn't ‘normal’ it will put everyone's mind to rest about anything creepy, oh the surprise when the boy came back.
The boy came back with one of the doctors, and talked to the mayor in private about something. After two hours they both came out, the mayors skin had turned a pale white as if the biggest secret in the world was just told to him.
That next day he stood in front of the humane board to announce the secret that the doctor told him, it was only a few words, but everyone there was in complete shock
“The boy has no issues”
He went on to explain how the doctors ran multiple tests examining every aspect of the boy, they found no mental illnesses and nothing was wrong with him, not even any little issues, the boy was 100% clean of issues, they did ask though, why he kept staring at the potted plant in his room for hours on end.
This put the council into an uproar, the main question still was “What are we going to do with this kid?!”
Everyone wanted him put in a insane asylum, but there was no reason to no matter how much they wanted, for he was considered ‘clean’ by the state. They all decided that the child shall be under constant surveillance and continuous questioning until they discovered what was wrong with the boy.
Now this seemed to work for a while, the boy seemed to seclude himself more, avoid nature....but there was a downside, they boy got increasingly violent, on his first day of 2nd grade he broke the nose of a boy that was making fun of him. After that incident the boy was watched more closely, though the only times he could find peace where when he was in a wooded area, or as he says “Around my brothers” though it still seemed that they were telling him something, throughout the months to come the boy got increasingly violent, it escalated from simple stabbing of his toys and making them kill each other, to the plotting to kill someone. It was late into November and the boy had one enemy, it was one of the school bullies, he would constantly pick on the boy, and I guess it got to him, because at one point, he brought a knife to school, and stabbed the boy in the leg.
The boy was taken away to the police headquarters and interrogated, they continually asked him why he did it, the simple answer that still haunts people in the town to this day “The trees told me to”
The boy was given 5 months of juvie and before they knew it, he was back, though he seemed more...more demented, like any good in him had fizzled up and died.
After he came back...that's when all hell broke loose, The child started doing...things....things that I never thought was possible till it happened, the child, he did things with the plants and trees...they started moving, not like the wind was pushing them, like they would reach out and grab things and tear things apart, i was part of a national guard unit moving through the area when they asked for help, oh god...i never saw anything like it when we got there. First thing we saw was 7 people hanging by their necks from trees, almost as if the tree made noises then forced them into it. the rest were in the same forms of torture, trees limbs tearing people apart, dragging people into the mud to suffocate, sometime all that remained of a person was a hand sticking out of the dirt.
in the end we found a few survivors, questioning them the one thing they said was “The boy! the boy!” and pointed us to the only house that wasn't destroyed. We moved in, charging down the door and clearing the house, no one was there, except for the attic in there was a boy, he turned to us...the horror.....he had no pupils....it was just white, and his mouth, his teeth where fangs, and his limbs were unusually long with claws instead of fingernails, the boy charged tackling the solder to my left and clawed out his neck.....before we could aim he was dead, then the boy charged the next, this time i pulled out my M9 and shot him 5 times in the head, the boy dropped dead, and then the noise....god..I'm deaf in my right ear from it. it was as millions of people screaming at once, then all the trees, they just dropped dead...fizzled out....it was unlike anything we ever saw...still confuses us to this day.
The captain called it the “Weeping Willow incident” and we were sworn to secrecy about it, so this story should never have been told, but just remember, never trust the trees, they are plotting something, they only need a leader and they can do things we never thought possible
The mayor told me everything that happened before we arrived, but what I still don't know
The rest of the child's family was never found, no bodies, no nothing, they just.....vanished.
