Captain Atticus Locke and his dragon Cirrus, enjoying (to varying degrees) a hot summer day in the Fort York Covert. Ice cream, interestingly enough, has existed in one for or another since the Persian Empire, though its modern incarnation comes from the late 16th century. Although the archetypal cone wasn't invented until 1825, and further was not patented formally until 1903, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to roll up a waffle and stuff ice cream into it ALSO FREAKING DRAGONS.
Also yes, Atticus has put his bars on his undershirt, because it is a billion degrees in Southern Ontario in the summer, and I doubt that's changed much. Also because he is a classy dude.
More Temeraire fan-dragon nonsense, but at least Cirrus has a captain now!
