Each horn is attached to the head by 2 screws. Once attached they are very solid and won't move for anything that I've accidentally thrown at them, like poles, doors, people, walls, shelves, etc... But then again, I'm a klutz. Going threw doors takes some planning as they don't leave much clearance on either side.
