New character concept.

He is a phoenix, but he doesn't know it. Phoenixes are immortal. Even if they die of illness/are killed by violence or accidents, they burn up and are reborn immediately, and it usually only takes them about a week to return to their adult shape.

However, they are sterile. No more or less phoenixes will ever exist. They fit into my standard universe this way, but Alexander exists in a time period in the past or on another, less developed planet.

Anyway, he's bisexual, has a wife, and doesn't know he's sterile, so he's being driven nuts because he can't get his wife pregnant. I will need to draw her at some point, if I can pin down what she looks like.
