It's the (new) sonic universe, dude. EVERYONE instinctually knows how to snow/skate/hoverboard, skate, ride a motorcycle, fly a plane, and inexplicably grind uphill.

It's all part of their "Screw all our existing sonic fans, let's market to new demographics" plan. ^^

<begins slow clap> I wholeheartedly agree. I still remember when he was nothing BUT side-scrolling, run-fast-as-you-can, badnik-thwompin goodness.

For shame, Sonic Team. For shame.

Yeah, now it's like they've got a friendly rivalry with Robotnik... err, "Eggman" I mean. He's about as intimidating now as he was in the "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" cartoon.

And of course the run-as-fast-as-you-can element has been completely removed. I can't even play any of the newer Sonic games, they're just so slow... and the few parts where you DO go fast are AUTOMATED. You just sit there and WATCH sonic bounce off of springs or go through a loop. UGH.

At least in the SatAM, he was mildly funny and had Snively to kick around (also mildly funny).

But since I actually BOUGHT the 360 Sonic game and played it, I feel compelled to address something. The newest "next-gen" game does indeed have highspeed sections. Pity you really can't, y'know, BRAKE when needed.

I realize Sonic is somewhat brash, but he ain't stupid enough to try running right into a damned bottomless pit.

Like I said, I was a fool for wasting $60 for that piece of trash...

Nice pic! I love her expression, but as CrashFu said above, seeing her on a snowboard in SRA kind of made the game jump the shark for me.

She's actually Tail's Sandboarding Partner, hence the fast uptake on the Snowboarding.

Is it me, or is it impossible for a Sonic game to suck when playing as Blaze? I mean, Sonic 2006 was almost enjoyable in her sections....
