Theirs was a love that couldn't be broken, a bond that wouldn't be weakened. Even with a whole world between them they had found each other, almost drawn in though at the time neither had much more then friendship on the mind, both just in need of someone to lean on with what they were both going through, someone to talk and help keep them distracted. Their friendship flourished as they learnt more of the other, found more common interests and gradually the light playful flirting started.

But as with all good tales theirs too held its dark moment, as the two almost fell apart. So simple a misunderstanding, as the husky gave the snow leopard space with her pending exams, not wanting to be a bother during her time of stress, but in the moment hadn't mentioned the reason why. She was left confused but much like him didn't wish to be a bother and thought it best that if he was apparently not keen on talking that she'd just let things slip out of her grasp with a small pout. All hope was lost it seemed between the two. Both missing the others friendship and perhaps a little more then even just that but not wanting to pester in fear of appearing annoying.

Few weeks passed and soon art appeared. Art that showed each locked in the heat of the moment with another. Both felt a pain, hurt by the sting of jealousy. Unable to sit silent any longer he finally spoke up, bringing light to dark mistake that had separated them, each feeling so guilty for not speaking up earlier before he confessed to her his feelings on her art, a confession that led to her own one leaving the two feeling rather embarrassed as blushes coloured both their cheeks.

It was from there that feelings only grew. Though the husky lived in Canada and the snow leopard in Australia, the two fought as best they could but only ended up tearing down the walls they'd build between each other. With each tender affectionate moment shared, every little jealousy flame snuffed out and the more time they spent together just sharing the events of their day or nerding out over videogames, they grew closer, fell further in love till finally both felt trapped, trying so hard to hold in the full extent of what they felt. It was then he took that step and asked her to be his mate and girlfriend both through fursonas an in person.

And even now, the feeling between the two continue to grow, their bond, this connection to each other getting stronger each moment whether spending their time together or lost in thoughts of what their future would hold. But one thing was certain. The love and care they had for each other wouldn't fade or even falter. Each held and protected over the others heart, the husky knight doing all he could to take care of his snow leopard princess, as she did all she could to show just how much she would always be there to protect him just the same.

I found it fitting to post this one up first as it was the first art of the two together back when Bane and Alice were just friends, before even the pause that ended up sparking to life what is their relationship now. And what could be more fitting then the tale of it all to go with it~
