Well, there is the fact that there is only one "dimension" to pressure, which means if I want to have both size and opacity controlled by pressure, they get controlled the same amount at the same time, so generally it's not as easy to vary the settings.
Additionally, there's just getting the right effect which involves finding the right brushes to use and when to use them.
