Designed by Frog Design and manufactured by FoxConn in china (that company that had all those people kill themselves) out of samsung and foxconn parts.

the iPod+HP models were a joint venture between apple and HP to sell ipods alongside HP sections of retail stores, this was before apple had a section for ipod in walmart/target/bestbuy. they wre engraved wioth the HP logo on the back, but HP had no say in their design or manufacture.

I had an iPod mini that also had the Hewlett-Packard logo on it. However where it was purchased, was at Target

they did the 4th gen 20 and 40 gig ipods like that, the ipod photo, and the mini and shuffle. the first through third gen ones never even got any HP love xD

another thing that foxconn now makes? dell desktops and laptops, ipod, iphone, ipad, and half of the consumer electronics you see now at best buy. theyre a huge manufacturer. chances are if you open your laptop you'll see tons of labels about foxconn ALL OVER.
