I didn't get the logic behind chuckys thoughts. He thinks that everyone is going to think he's gay, cuz kev said they met in the shower rooms before. But the shower rooms are public for students and well, I've never seen anyone showering in clothes, so hey, why is he think such unlogical thoughts.

BTW this is no rant on the story.

It seems to me that the strongest social insecurities are often the most illogical.

Besides, if I didn't know the actuality of the situation (if I were on the other side of the fourth wall) Kev's words would certainly cause me a raised eyebrow.

Eh, he's just afraid the girls are gonna think he and Kev were showering together, that they're gonna misinterpret what he's saying. Chucky is new to the whole situation of college and how public the dorms are in general.

Heh heh, thanks man! Yeah, we had this orientation thing at my college that was a week long, and of course we did this intro thing at the beginning. And believe it or not at my current job, when I went to company indoc, they went around the room and all 26 of us newbies did introductions.

a week long orientation? dang, our ornientation only lasted one day, hehe

It was actually really cool. I was in a group of like 10 freshman. We toured the town, spent a day kayaking, and a bunch of other cool stuff. I've long since graduated, been out since 1998. But the memories are plenty. Glad you're enjoying it!
