A much needed follow-up to my previous Daisy picture
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7329497/
Especially after I had discovered that I had performed my research incorrectly, and that Daisy actually hails from the China-themed country of Chai, and not the Egypt themed Birabuto.
And so here we have her wielding and wearing ceremonial weapons and armor - A bowserhead Guan-Dao, based off of the Dragonhead Guan-Daos you see every once in a while, as well as an armored cheongsam(Or Chinadress), which if not for the golden scale mail under the mirror plate, would most likely provide to be fairly decent suit(or dress) of armor, outside of the bared arms. I was aiming to keep the feel of a cheongsam, which focuses mainly on the torso and legs, however. I feel that if I were to have had made it a full suit covering the arms as well, it would have taken it even further away from the cheongsam idea than it already is now.
The background is fogged overly mainly because of my inability to draw/paint leafy tree-lines. Said background is referenced, as well, so I didn't want to draw too much attention to it, as Daisy, the Guan Dao, and the armor is meant to be the main topic of the picture.
In the end, I think I've at least partially succeeded in getting the kind of picture I was aiming for, and in the very least, made a major improvement over the awkawrdness of my previous Daisy picture =w=b
