Heh. But seriously, good attempt at thick mist. I'd say - if you're up for a bit of critique - the main thing that seems to be missing is that the fox is sitting in mid-air. There needs to be something solid for it to sit on.
The 'spikiness' of the hair makes it look like the mist is so thick it's made his/her fur damp!
