Dewclaw University not only has medical facilities, but in fact an actual teaching hospital. The largest section is devoted to Terran medicine, but there is also a section for alien disease control, studying illnesses that affect Rakshani, Caitians, etcetera, that may affect humans and morphs.

Most of this is just world-building, but Dewclaw University got a big cameo in the story - "Lost!" by Terry Knight which was written back in 1996.

I am also working on a story that will take place on the campus of Declaw University but it's still in the works and might be a while to get it finished

Now that Goldfur and family has made the big move to Chakona, I'm looking forward to seeing more of that planet and what it may have in store for them.
