Well not exactly the wrong room, more like the wrong time
The designers didn't really think about the effects of making the only bathroom connect to the living room :b
It wasn't that traumatizing either, just really really embarrassed to catch yourself kinda-liking the sight xb

Well the bathroom was once connected to both the master bedroom and livingroom, but because of some structural weaknesses they had to reinforce the master bedroom's side of the bathroom
The cost-effective way was sealing the whole thing up rather than iron reinforcements, just because the owner of the building is a cheapskate :b
