Guess what I've got from my boyfriend to my Birthday?
It's the "Lady Lovelylocks and the Pixietails" DVD (1-2) Those who know me, know that this cartoon take a very special place in my heart...It's the cartoon, that introduced me to furries. (Google for Pixietails for more info). And now I have it! I'm so going to Thank-rape Him for this awesome present!
But wait! The Hungarian title of the cartoon is "Aranyfürt Királykisasszony és a Fürtöcskék" (which translates roughly as Princess Goldy-locks and the Locklettes)...this is however Fénylőfürt és a mágikus manócskák. (Shiny-locks and the magical gnomes)
Way the go! This 2 DVD came out in 2011 and I had a really good chance of bumping into it, when they changed the title of it! It's like giving Star Wars the title Space Wars. No frigging' sane person would look for it under that title, for sure!
Okay, so MIRAX (not MIRAMAX lol) raped the title? Let's see if they raped the whole Hungarian script, and voice-acting too! It could be - I'll give it a try soon! However: It also has English audio on the disk too! Thanks for Tiamat! So it was a really cool present, and I'm glad that the original audio is on the disc, so I can surely enjoy this great bloodless show of the 80's!
(7 episodes out of 20...not complete but it's something. I hope MIRAX decides to release the rest of it too! They promised 3 DVDs under this title...don't know how 13 episode will fit on the last DVD if the first two has 7 episodes on them combined...it could be SVCD, but I have to verify that...)
