Yes we missed you, welcome back you fantastic pangolin.
Glazed and golden blessed with a fruity coating these wings come from the kitchens of

...I never forget my requests, either - this is for
maher :3
This is more of a 'riff' off from my Apricot-Chili wings that I did here :3
But see if you like it at any rate !
1 package chicken wings / drummettes
3/4 cup sweet orange marmalade (killed a leftover jar)
1 tablespoon orange juice
1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 1/2 cloves fresh minced garlic
1 teaspoon sweet and sour sauce
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
(I use the stuff from the jar, its a lifesaver)
1/2 of a fresh mango, chopped
(it may cost more, but seriously, get the mangoes that are already sliced up...you know, the pre-packaged kind you would get for a fruit salad or something!)
1 teaspoon Aleppo pepper (if you cant find this, you can always use chile pepper, cayenne, nanami togarashi, a squirt or two of sambal oelek (sriracha sauce) a teaspoon of your favorite smoky chipotle pepper (not in the can with its sauce, you're better off with ground and dried) or a mix of Hungarian hot & sweet paprika, or even a teaspoon of your favorite smoky rub mix)
Its an easy recipe-
Chop up the mangoes, garlic first and toss in a bowl- then spoon in the marmalade, then add in the rest- then pour the marinade in a big Ziploc bag and then seal up the chicken inside the marinade, let it sink in for a few hours in your refrigerator zipped up....
Then, just crank your oven to 385 F (or use your grill, its a decent marinade on its own)...get a big cookie sheet and put some heavy duty tin foil on it...put the chicken on the bottom rack with a good bit of the marinade on it (or just pour it all out on the chicken, its right on the foil anyways, so you wont have to worry about clean up)...
Cook for 45 minutes, just make sure you turn the chicken over at the 'halfway' point with some tongs so that it cooks evenly- and you can pour the rest of the marinade on the chicken here, or, just baste it around with the orangey stickiness left on the foil, take your pick ! :P
Then just take out, let rest for a minute, and serve with pork fried rice that you got at some Chinese takeout, and serve !
Nom nom nom !
