The next step in the degreasing process in ammonia baths. There are several solutions you can use to degrease bones. Common chemicals used besides just plain ol dish soap are benzine, acetone, and ammonia. I use ammonia because again, you can get it at the dollar store. And it's pretty cheap, a jug a little under a gallon is only... A dollar.
After I wash them in soapy water I just cut open an old gallon water bottle, toss in the bones, and add the ammonia. Ammonia gives off vapors which can irritate your eyes and nasal passage, so don't be like me, and do this in an unventilated work room. Go outside or do this in a ventilated room.
This step is very easy. just cover bones in ammonia and set aside for 2-3 days. Repeat this 4-5 times, until you soak bones, and after a day there is no residue floating on the surface (I'll be uploading some shots of what this looks like after a day)
