I think i should have put some more stray quills across the back of her head as well. It looks like of funny as it is.. Admittedly she's always been a bit bald looking because she has her quills in a ponytail.
Anyway I asked around and most people think she looks 7 so I am happy. Notice that she has lumps across her shoulders and elbows? That's quills coming out of her clothing. It looks pretty good. Though I can't help but notice it looks like she's holding herself up by her front arms.
Anyway this looks like a good enough reference for her so far. I think I'm doing well in my conversion to realism.
