yes its a real sword made of metal steal to be exact...
this one is a shoto! there are 3 kinds of samurai swords
katana = longest of the swords about ' to 45' long blade
Wakizashi = Smaller kind of katana around 20' to 26' long blade
Any blade smaller than a foot is considered a Tanto, or a knife.
