Hugh "The Polar Bear" Rowland is one of the stars in the reality-TV series "Ice Road Truckers" from History Channel. Wiki bit: "A very rough-around-the-edges 20-year veteran of ice-road trucking, Hugh (born 1957) is based in Kelowna in southern British Columbia. He claims to be known by the Ice Road trucking community as "The Polar Bear," which he says is a reference to his strong personality, bearish attitude, stamina and consistently high number of loads delivered per season." For a Canadian he's quite the cowboy. His human form really lends himself well to a polar bear.

The truck, a 2000 Freightliner FLD 120 SD, was hard and I had to take artistic liberties to finish it as I didn't find any decent pics... until I recently re-checked imcdb.com and found new images have been loaded. No matter. The date's legit. I had it in the CPU for months in 2 versions; this one and another one that's sharper, with more black-white contrast. I said to myself "to hell with it" and here it is. Think I should upload the other one for comparison?
Now I feel a little pressured to draw his rival, Alex Debogorski!
