This is a French partridge.
I found him in my chimney / fireplace.
I don't know how long he was in there.. 20 minutes at most I think.
Once I opened the door, he flew out, into that curtian behind me, trying to get out the window. I caught him, got mum to take a quick picture, and let him out into the garden.

Oh, and that human's me. With my hair tied back to look worse then usual, and I'm pulling a nice face.
