stew commissioned a plate of his draconic character, Hex, at AC 2012. This is the first fire. The plate is aprox. 10" across, and is being painted with china paints. I used a crow quill pen to apply the first layer of paint, the 'inking', if you will.

The character has red stars on his wings, but rather than do the hard-looking line work, I will paint the stars on as I apply the first layer of brushed color.
