Now. Contrary to what Kompy's design might imply, I have nothing against the 'feathered' theory that some dinosaurs may have had, well, proto-feathers. I'm even willing to play with the idea that compies had them. So why doesn't Kompy have feathers?

Well, the original reason was "she's based off the Jurassic Park 2 version of compies". Nowadays, it's more because I don't feel I've earned them yet.

While it abhors me to call Kompy a "fursona", she does play the role relatively well for the most part, give or take her more adventurous side. A part of me feels she should remain more or less unaltered in her design until I myself have taken a real step forward into reaching my dreams of independence and self-sustained freedom. A weird thing to have as a goal, but it's something I had held in me for a while.

I'm still far from reaching my goal, though it's getting there, so for now, no feathers. They wouldn't look like this anyway, this is just a joke :P
