He looks furry to me... and angry. Why so seeeeerious?

Can't decide really... Does it matter? He has fur and therefore should be furry. Or am I wrong in this?

Mmm, it matters if the fur looks good or not because if it looks good, that's my cue to continue using that technique to make things look furry. But if it doesn't look good, it means I need to find a better way to make things look furry. :/ and also the fact of whether or not the fur looks good can tell me whether fur-texture is a good addition to my art, or if I need to not try to make things look furry like that in my drawings anymore....
