This Griswold signal bears the Safetran branding, which means one of two things.
It was built when Griswold was a separate company and then upgraded at a later date.
Or more likely it was built by Safetran after Griswold and RACO merged into Safetran.
Safetran itself on now just a brand as well, having been absorbed into an investment group conglomerate Invensis. When Safetran was bought the Minneapolis plant was shut down.

I would imagine that since these are 100% electromechanical and don't have any built in diagnostics (not to mention sorta stuffed inside the pedestal as opposed to the current Safetran or WCH gates) can be rather fussy to deal with.
