i just got this little girl.. i was told shes 1 year old.. but man shes small.

shes in the middle of a shed and my cam sucks balls

Some snakes grow faster than others, sometimes depending on what they eat. Something I've learned raising snakes is that hatchlings tend to grow faster when fed rats instead of mice. Weird, but true! Rats are nutritionally better for them. /advice <3

oh yeah i only feed rats.. we breed rats for food have lots.. but they are all to big for her.. she eats 2 pinkies a week i was told.. im hoping i can get her bigger and on rats.. they are much better then mice!

It could be that the reason she's still small is that she was kept on a pinkie diet

thats what im thinking.. im going to try and get her on rats as soon as i can.. but shes almost to small for them i think.. going to be hard. i breed rats and none ever come out that tiny:P

You might want to start her on large pinkie mice and get her used to that for a bit. Rat pinkies may be too big for her right now.

we just had a litter of s,mall rats it seems to be an ok size for her.. she is eating it.. and i mean we have a baby kenyan who is on pinkie rats and does fine.

yeah she did.. with no problems at all.. so that makes me happy. i can get her on rats and get some size on the girl. its not too big a deal as shes not going to breed.. but i do want her to grow lol. ill also try a rat in a few days after she is done her shed. get her started on a new road!

It's okay if the meal is slightly big. If it's too big, worst case scenario she will just throw it back up, but I bet she wouldn't have a problem with it.

yeah she was fine with it.. it was a small one.. i bit bigger then id like.. but she didnt have any problems with it so its all good.. can get her on rats not crappy mice!

yeah i will.. shes eatting a new born right now.. they were only born a few hours ago.. so we are on our way to a bigger snake i hope. shes just soo tiny!

no idea lol.. 7 snakes. 2 turtles, 2 cats, 1 service dog, walking cat fish, 2 gerbils, more rats then i care to count, but they are for food so i dont really count them lol
