Part 2 of how I draw. I'll have to copy and paste the description again from my DA since I typed a lot:
I really hate having to use my damn phone now. I was lazy and didn't move to my lamp to light it better. I'm sorry.
But after drawing that guideline skeleton I just decided to keep going with it.
The next step is just when I fill it in over the guide line. Things don't always go as planned. Like one of her toe nails. I didn't erase that because I thought it'd be funny to show.
Only thing I don't like about this is her arms but it's okay she's not supposed to be doing anything important. So they're just there to show the arm guide lines. My usual rule is to have the elbow start where your rib cage stops. This is different for everybody but this is just stuff I noticed after having to use my own body for drawings.
Last picture I'm going to do is the filled in version. The problem is the phone picture will make it look crappy. I'll have to rescan the final picture along with the other finished drawings once I get things fixed. Promise.
I'm still not sure why in some drawings she has pupils while in some she doesn't. I guess it just depends on the picture. Cartoons tend to have blank eyes once they go bonkers. So maybe it's an excitement thing with her. And those pesky wings look different again but I like this version.
You might notice my linework is always really heavy. I rarely ever do that lightly sketch type of drawing. Maybe once or twice if it's something out of my comfort zone. I did it for her right ( our left ) leg before I filled the lines in more. I tend to be more of a hard sketcher because my vision is just horrible. I've goofed quite a few times just because I drew too light over the years.
