The two apprentices slowly circled each other on the practice field. The dying sun's fading light lit the sky on fire, and a cool breeze told them both that it would be soon time to head inside for the night. Just enough time for
"One last round, come on!" the husky-pomeranian mix begged his opponent.
"You haven't won one yet, pup. And isn't it nearly your bedtime?" the older kangaroo rat teased.
Max pouted at the poke towards his pride. "Come on, pleaaaaaaaaaaase?"
Jay smiled. "Alright, one more round." He raised his keyblade to the en garde position, and held one hand behind his back. "I'll even hold back this time to give you a fairer shot. Maybe it'll help make up for your own little crinkly handicap."
Max's grin grew cocky. His massive tail twitched, like a gunslinger's fingers itching to wrap around his six-shooters. "I am so gonna make you pay for that."
"I'll believe that when I see it…"


So, yeah, one of the first time's Jay's appeared in KH-gear that ISN'T Sora's. Whatever next?

I've wanted a pic of Jay in proper original KH-themed getup for quite a while, so it was fun to see this done and push RD a bit into a more actiony direction. I think he did a great job with it. This is actually technically the second time Jay has appeared in his KH clothes, but the first time… well, you'll get to see that soon enough.

So, a big thank you to rainydays, and I hope you had fun with it, pup. Hope you don't mind the little poke at your padding in the story there. ;P
