Each of the charms is carved using a dremel and a piece of drift wood collected from the shores of Lake Erie. This Charm is about 5.5 inches long and one and a half inches at it's widest.

I did. : ) After carving out the indents with a dremel I took a wood burner and darkened the marks.
It was funny watching me get there though. I had a bit of a mind blank at that step. I was trying to figure out how in the world I was going to paint it accurately and protect the outer parts. Then it just clicked. Wood burn it!
