I love your SR art. But I never see any Deckers.

* Most of my experience playing Shadowrun was years ago though I still like the basic idea and I love how 4e handles a potential amount of nightmarish rules.

* 4e Shadowrun feels a little more integrated so far, but my two sessions worth of experience have seen the decker collaborating with the rigger. Previous versions tended to have deckers do decker stuff and then not really interface with the rest of the group, so it's hard to think of them - especially because the few times I played, nobody wanted to be one. (If you're an EECs major, what's more exciting to you as RP - getting to work with computers, or getting to be a huge troll with a Panther Assault Cannon?)

thats true, visually, it is hard to depict a guy completely pwning some Corp network unless you draw only what the decker is seeing in the matrix. and usually, his matrix icon ends up being a huge troll with a panther assault cannon. I can see your reasoning there. Hmmm, how do get around this? Have the decker rigging a drone perhaps?

Makes me want to go get my Ares Predator, call up my buds and earn some creds on the Shiawase payroll.
