Here's the first concept design for Sidekick. Who is Sidekick? Why she's the (unwanted) "partner" of my comic book hero Admiral Awesome. While he's an example of typical superhero nonsense costumes (really, they're not practical), she's an example of what a real hero would look like. Dressed in a bowling shirt with matching Chucks and mask, she uses protective pads and gloves to keep herself safe, and a utility belt of useful items like pepper spray and those plastic zipline thingies you use for binding cords (or wrists) together.
