Is there more than we know about these Meatcat creatures?
Where did they come from? Is their history connected with our own? Did their race contacted the human species in a distant past, leaving clues of their visit in the art and mythology of ancient civilizations?

Actually it was the other way around. The pyramids attracted the attention of aliens and they came to ask humans how they had built them.

And yes... but it would break too far from the Egyptian style, so I omitted it.

Curiously, the Egyptians painted their kings with tails in tombs and temples. So I guess if they depicted humans with tails, they would probably depict anthros without it.

I always felt that circuits and hieroglyphics are similar. They both contain information, but they look like a random decorative pattern to anyone who can't read them.
