Oli olemassa jokin kikka, jolla jpg-tiedostoon saa piilotettua musiikkia siten, että jos tiedostonimen päätteen kirjoittaa .jpg:n sijaan .mp3, kuvan voi soittaa mediaplayerissa. Tähän olisi voinut piilottaa jotain PotC-musaa.

Entä sitten itse kappale? Miten jokin kyseinen kappale saadaan kuvaan mukaan (sanotaan vaikka nyt toi PotC-musiikki)?

Komentorivillä täytyy vaan ottaa kaks tiedostoa jotenkin tyyliin copy tiedosto1 + tiedosto2 -B yhdistelmätiedosto tai jotain. Jossa siis ensimmäinen tiedosto on kuvaa ja toinen jotain musiikkia. Sitten ne yhdistyy yhdeksi tiedostoksi, jota voi joko katsoa tai kuunnella riippuen siitä, minkä tiedostopäätteen sille höskälle antaa.

Undeserving? Nah. I sometimes colour other people's lineart just for practise. I used to do that a lot back in y-gallery.

If you want to colour some lineart of mine some time, I wouldn't mind at all. I've got so many lying about I can never colour them all myself anyway...

the red on the side there looks like its something on fire, in the middle of a storm and a raging battle.., but still is pretty outstanding to view :3

I was trying to imply that something might be ablaze... True, it's raining hard, but I thought that inside the cabin a fallen lantern might've set something on fire. Oh, I just love setting things on fire. I can find no other good excuse! x)

another ship fired a cannonball into the powderkeg storage and an explosion took place turning the ship on fire as the captain struggles the guilty captain that comes to claim his booty or his life

If you ask me, it would be cool but quite not as cool as a double hook. Punch daggers are pretty common weapons in many fantasy themed rpgs. =)

You know how to fence? That's cool! My best friend used to take fencing-lessons to satisfy her curiosity about that sport. I only know some basics of kendo... And even at that I'm just a mere 6th kyu (although they said I got good kiai). ^^

I always wanted to do Kendo... and actually collected some Japanese blades - sold them to a fellow who was sending them back to Japan to his father, since Ihad stumbled on to some very good examples. I taught fencing for years, and as such studied the use of the sword extensively. The pose your figures are in is correct for rapier (a point weapon - not edge - which they are using, though the edge was sharp) The arm back pose draws the chest back and shrinks the target. The stance of the feet also gives them better ballance - and where they are they would absolutely need ballance.

*laughs and dances around a bit before falling over.

*tips hat respectfully* Oh, you're a real pro then! As for kendo, I warmly recommend that you give it a try. It's very uplifting, good exercise for the whole body and you learn a lot of self-control. =)

The figures here are drawn by LeChevalier - as the entire lineart in whole. I suppose he must know a thing or two about fencing as well. As for me, I don't know a thing, but I enjoy a good show when I see one. =D

Was the background just photoshop, may I ask? I'm really trying to start with more painter-y backgrounds myself, so I'm naturally curious how other folks wrangle it.

The background was done with both Painter and Photoshop. I first painted the wave crudely with Painter (perfect program for the painterly effects) and then added some detail and highlights to it with Photoshop brushes. The rain was made with a very simple Photoshop filtering trick on top of all the other layers.

I've always liked pirates - not forgetting ninjas, of course.... But pirates are more colourful and they know how to party.

Never really payed much attention to the whole pirate/ninja thing, and I'm certainly not a ninja fan either, though I must agree there, when it comes down to it, pirates certainly are funner on many levels!

Very epic. The background and rain effect set the dramatic mood very well, worthy of the climax of a gripping pirate saga.

...I somehow get the feeling that they're just fighting over a tied-up Charha sitting on a treasure chest, though. Swashbucklers have an overdeveloped flair for the dramatic, y'know.

Thank you! I love highlights to the extend that I put them in places where they technically shouldn't be. But I don't think that really matters as long as it looks good. ^^

May study on lightning show that object should be lighted from two side if possible. Thats the best. And there used to be some storm-lantern on the mast anyway.

Painter has this tool called "artists oils"... I use it so much I haven't even bothered to find out what the other brush types are for. ^_^;;

i think the colors and background make the picture a FAR more exciting beast than the original lineart, IMHO.

The lineart had great potential for tension and dramatics. Colouring the background was quite easy when the initial setting was already there. =)

I'm slowly getting the hang of Photoshop, but there's still so many things I don't know... I actually learned a few tricks yesterday when I met this nice fella from Remedy games workshop. He taught me how to use masks and brush tool the way they should be used, yay!
